SIRUP will host the music event “Grooving Night #4” on September 20 (Friday) at Osaka’s Orix Theater in Shinsaibashi. It has been confirmed that Ayumu Imazu will also appear as a guest.
The event, themed “Let’s spend a groovy night before bed,” features a stage designed to evoke a relaxed nighttime atmosphere, where host artist SIRUP and guest artists perform live and engage in talks. Previous guests have included iri, OKAMOTO’S, and TENDRE.
For the fourth edition, guest artist Ayumu Imazu, a Generation Z singer-songwriter who handles everything from lyric writing and composing to dance choreography, and who is active globally with bases in New York and Japan, has been announced. Both SIRUP, from Izumiotsu, Osaka, and Ayumu Imazu, from Yao, Osaka, share a deep personal friendship and will have their first-ever two-man live performance together as a hometown return. The live show will include special sessions, and during the talk segment, which will be conducted in nightwear, they will discuss a wide range of topics including each other’s music, cultural differences, and values between Japan and abroad.
Tickets will be available for early purchase starting from July 17 (Wednesday) via ePlus.
