A cassette of downt’s album “Underlight & Aftertime” was released on Wednesday, July 3.
downt is a trio band consisting of Yui Tokugashi (Guitar/Vocals), Takaki Kawai (Bass), and Tener Ken Robert (Drums). In 2024, they showcased their strong presence in the live music scene by performing at NiEW’s free event “exPoP!!!!! Vol.163” and “SYNCRONICITY’24”, and embarked on their first overseas tour in Shanghai and Hangzhou, China.
Their cassette release is an analog version of their 1st full album, which was released on March 6th (Wednesday). The album includes 11 tracks such as the lead single “Whale” and the epic over 8-minute piece “13th Month” released in 2023. The cassette’s artwork features original illustrations and design by Yui Tokugashi.
Furthermore, the analog version of the album will be released on October 9th (Wednesday), with more details to be announced later.
