In celebration of Hikaru Utada’s first best album “SCIENCE FICTION,” her first best album, which will be released on April 10 (Wed.), a related event will be held. An online listening party and a limited-time pop-up store will be held.
On April 10 (Wed), 13 (Sat), and 14 (Sun) from 9:00 p.m., an online listening party will be held to distribute all the songs from the best album. Each date will be held on a different platform: Wednesday, April 10 will be held at Stationhead, Saturday, April 13 will be the premiere on YouTube, and Sunday, April 14 will be held at LOUNGE, an online space provided by the music streaming service AWA. Utada Hikaru’s staff will also be participating in the event via the chat / comment section.
A pop-up store “HIKARU UTADA POP-UP STORE “SCIENCE FICTION” will also be held at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU in Harajuku, Tokyo, from April 10 (Wed) to 13 (Sat) for four days only. Visitors will be able to listen to the album using spatial audio (Dolby Atmos), experience a costume display, a photo shooting booth, and more. Admission is free, and some slots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for admission slots must be made through livepocket, and applications will be accepted from 7:00 p.m. on April 5 (Fri.).
