The second round of performers has been announced for SUMMER SONIC 2024, which will be held on August 17 and 18 at ZOZO Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe in Chiba and Expo ’70 Memorial Park in Suita, Osaka.
The event drew approximately 215,000 people in 2023, with BLUR, Kendrick Lamar, YOASOBI, and others to round out the stage. Previously, 22 groups had been announced for the lineup, including MÅNESKIN, BRING ME THE HORIZON, and AURORA.
The newly announced lineup includes LIL YACHTY, Gen Hoshino, Vaundy, SUPER BEAVER, Korean brother-sister duo AKMU, imase, Chilli Beans., HOOBASTANK, Dai Hirai, and multinational girl group BABYMONSTER, Creepy Nuts, Sheep Literature, New School Leaders, and Wednesday’s Campanella. Of these, Gen Hoshino, AKMU, and BABYMONSTER will appear only in Tokyo (Chiba), and Vaundy will appear only in Osaka. Along with the announcement, the day schedule was also released, including the first artists. Also, a comment from Naoki Shimizu, representative of Creativeman, is posted on the official website.
Official advance tickets for 2-DAY tickets are now on sale, and the “Creativeman” member advance for 1-DAY tickets and platinum tickets will be available from March 15 (Fri.), and the official advance will be available from March 20 (Wed., holiday) on e-plus and lo-chique.
