The urban ambient event “Balearic Park” is set to take place on April 4th (Thursday) at Tokyo’s Shibuya WWW.
Balearic Park has previously featured artists from both Japan and abroad, including Gigi Masin, Laraaji, Project Pablo, and 7FO. For this edition, the Canadian ambient pop duo Shabason & Krgovich will headline the event as the main artists.
Shabason & Krgovich are Vancouver-based singer Nicholas Kergovich and Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist Joseph Shabason, who will release “Philadelphia” with Chris Harris in 2020 and “At Starting on Friday, April 5, the duo will be touring Japan with a special group featuring the Tenniscoats in a five-stop tour of Japan. They will also perform at “Balearic Park” as Shabason & Krgovich featuring Tenniscoats. Tickets for the Tokyo show on Friday, April 12 are sold out.
The co-performers will be Summer Eye, a solo project by Tomoyuki Natsume, VIDEOTAPEMUSIC, which produces a mellow and exotic sound, and Akie as a DJ.
