The YATSUI FESTIVAL! 2024 has been confirmed to take place on June 15 (Saturday) and 16 (Sunday) at nine venues in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Organized by Ichiro Yatsui of comdey duo Elekicomique and affectionately known as the “Yatsui Festival,” this event is characterized by a genre-defying lineup curated using Yatsui’s extensive network, with a focus on music and comedy. In 2023, the festival featured performances from over 230 acts, both at the venues and online. The 13th edition, happening this time, will adopt a circuit format, taking place both in venues and online. Along with the announcement, comments from Yatsui have also been released.

This marks the 13th edition, equivalent to the first year of junior high school for a child. We’ve entered full-blown adolescence. Thanks to all of you, we’ve been nurtured to this point. Truly, thank you very much!
Whether it’s music, comedy, idols, ghost stories, ramen, and more, there’s no festival as genre-less in the true sense as the Yatsui Festival, and it continues to thrive!
In a landscape full of similar events with slight variations, the Yatsui Festival has become a unique event not found anywhere else in Japan. It’s a festival where things you love intersect, allowing you to discover new things you’ll love.
Taking over live houses in Shibuya for a city-style roaming festival, please come and join us on June 15 and 16! We’ve got the best lineup and preparations waiting for you!! Well then, see you in Shibuya!
The first batch of performers was also announced at the same time: DJ Tatsuichiro, Erekikata, a unit of Elektricomic and Hitoshi Katagiri, Shibusashirazu Orchestra, which has been making its annual noon appearance on the first day of the festival, Wednesday Campanella, CENT, Khaki, fishbowl, “Suichu, Sore wa Kurushii, Nagakumo, Toshiyuki Tanaka, Apsu Shusei, and Toshi Boys.
Tickets for the venue are now on sale at e-plus for early-bird first-come, first-served tickets. Online distribution is mainly free to attend, and platform and other details will be announced later.
