The first lineup of artists for “POP YOURS,” scheduled to take place at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls 9-11 in Chiba on May 18 (Saturday) and 19 (Sunday), has been announced.
“POP YOURS” is the largest hip-hop festival in Japan, now in its third edition, with the theme of “Hip-Hop as Pop Culture of the 2020s.” The headliner for DAY1 is LEX, while Tohji will take the stage as the headliner for DAY2. The first wave of announcements includes a total of 30 acts such as JP THE WAVY, JUMADIBA, STUTS, Kaneee, and SIRUP.
Simultaneously with the announcement, the lottery application for the fastest pre-sale ticket reservations has begun. In addition to general tickets, limited quantities of “Gold Tickets,” allowing viewing from a dedicated area, and tickets with special collaboration merchandise from the fashion brand “BlackEyePatch” are also available.
In addition, on January 27 (Sat.) and 28 (Sun.), “POP YOURS 2023” will be re-streamed on YouTube. 43 hip-hop artists performed in 2023, attracting a total of 30,000 viewers over the two days, with tickets sold out and approximately 370,000 viewers watching the live broadcast on YouTube.
