Iihenji’s stage play “Tomodachijanai” will be performed from Wednesday, March 20 to Sunday, March 24 at Hokutopia Pegasus Hall in Oji, Tokyo.
Iihenji is a theater group from Waseda University that was launched in 2017, and their play “Kusuri wo Morai ni Iku Kusuri”, performed in 2022, was selected as a finalist for the 67th Kishida Kunio Drama Award.
The play “Tomodachijanai” which will participate in the “Sato Sakichi Theater Festival 2024,” centering on Yoshimura, who has a complex about not having anyone he can consider a friend, the work reexamines the interaction between himself and others.It is written and directed by Shiori Nakajima. The performers are divided into three teams: Team A consists of Tomoka Iio (Iihenji), Hanako Tomioka (Mochimochi / Mathilde Appartement), and Shun Kobayashi; Team B consists of Shiori Nakajima (Iihenji), Emi Tanaka, and Teppei Migikiki(Pa-Man); Team C consists of Nahoko Ozawa (Iihenji), Yo Momose, and Yamato Fujiie The C team will perform.
