ROTH BART BARON’s new song “BLOW feat. Safeplanet” was released on Friday, September 22.
The song is a collaboration with Safeplanet, one of the leading bands in the Thai indie scene, and was released on October 18 (Wed), In July of this year, the two groups performed the song together for the first time at ROTH BART BARON’s festival “BEAR NIGHT 4” held at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in Tokyo. The recording was done the day before the event.
The music video shot at the studio in Bangkok, Thailand, where Safeplanet is based, will premiere on September 22 (Fri.) at 21:00. Directed by Japanese filmmaker and photographer domu, the video was shot by a Thai video crew including Safeplanet’s lighting team.
The album “8” will not be sold in CD form for distribution, but will be released as “BEAR MAG vol. 3,” a zine published irregularly by ROTH BART BARON. The magazine is a photo book by Masaya Mifune, and a CD is included as a bonus. As a limited production item, pre-orders will be accepted at the band’s store site ” THE ROTH STORE ” from today.
