The second round of performers and ticket information for TAMATAMA FESTIVAL 2023 to be held on October 21 (Sat.) and 22 (Sun.) have been announced.
The event is a pop culture festival to be held in the area around Tama Center Station in Tama City, Tokyo, and will be led by WACK, which has nurtured artists such as BiSH and currently manages eight groups, and NiEW, a culture company that supports alternative culture. Curry festival TAMA CURRY CAMP
exPoP!!!!! Curry festival “TAMA CURRY CAMP” will be held in conjunction with “@TAMATAMA2023”! Popular curry stores selected by Japanese Curry Festival producer Hiroaki Matsu (Curry Cell), ranging from cutlet curry to spice curry and South Indian cuisine, will gather. Stores will be announced at a later date.
Autumn: Tama Expo 2023 “Machi-zukai” Technology Expo in Tama” ▶ “Tama Tech 2023.
Autumn 2023: Tama Expo of Technology for “Machi-zukai” in Tama” will be held at the Open Studio in Parthenon Tama, hosted by Bourne Rex Co. The event features exhibits of new technology by several startup companies, as well as virtual reality (VR) and other hands-on experience of actual startup services.
WACK’s own cultural festival
WACK’s own cultural festival will be held at the former Nishi-Ochiai Junior High School. In addition to the previously announced ExWHYZ, GANG PARADE, ASP, BiS, Mame-Shiba no Oogu, A Certain Place in Tokyo, and BiTE A SHOCK, KiSS KiSS and Richi will be performing this time.
▶Gymnasium
On both days, the gymnasium will host “WACK EXHiBiTiON in TAMATAMA FESTIVAL 2023,” where all the groups’ live performances can be enjoyed together. In addition, the festival program “WACK’s own festival performance” will be held in the gymnasium on Sunday the 22nd, featuring live performances by the light music club, dance performances by the dance club, and theater performances by the drama club (details to be announced later).
▶School grounds
On Saturday the 21st, “WACK’s own Sports Day” will be held on the school grounds, where all participating members will be divided into three groups to compete against each other. The competitions will include “100-meter sprint,” “jump rope,” “dodgeball,” “tricycle race,” and “pedometer challenge. In addition, a “throat singing contest” will be held, and a food area and a market area will also be set up. In the market area, “MUSEUM for NEWTOWN” will bring together about 40 creators and artists in a wide range of fields, including product, fashion, hair and makeup, food, books, architecture, and art, who are associated with Tama New Town.
▶In the school building
On both days, “WACK’s Own Art Exhibition,” “WACK’s Own Photography Exhibition,” and “WACK’s Own Costume Exhibition” will be held inside the school building, as well as “WACK’s Own Cinema,” where short films produced by the film club will be shown. In addition, there will be “WACK’s own class,” “WACK’s own academic achievement test,” live broadcasting by the broadcasting club, and “Underage Claim,” in which participants are being sought.

Pre-reserve lottery tickets for all four ticket types, except for the “School Entrance Ticket,” will go on sale from 18:00 on September 23 (Sat), and general tickets for all ticket types will go on sale from 10:00 on October 7 (Sat). Purchased tickets will be exchanged for wristbands on the day of the event. The details of the wristband exchange will be announced on the official website at a later date.
