The artwork for Yuka Nagase ‘s mini-album “Launchvox” to be released on September 27 (Wed.) has been unveiled, and comments from mekakushe and Masao Sasagawa, who provided the music, have also been released.
The artwork for the album was created by jyari, whose illustrations are based on fantasy, future, and science fiction worlds, and uses the same motif as the main visual from jyari’s solo exhibition ” PARAISO ” that was held in June.
The two artists co-wrote the song “Space Swimming,” and comments from Pasokon Music Club and Yusuke Sato, who also provided music for the album, have already been posted on the official website.
The album will be available for pre-order at stores from August 16 (Wed.). A release event is scheduled for October 4 (Wed.) at Shibuya CUTUP STUDIO in Tokyo, to which 100 people will be invited by drawing lots from those who pre-ordered at the Tower Records Shibuya store.
<mekakushe’s comment
I’m sure that no matter what happens from now on, you will be somewhere in the world, I will meet someone I don’t even know, and we will start a new day together. The road to the convenience store at night that I walked with you, it is a road that leads to the universe. Now I can walk alone.
I will meet you here again anytime, and I will find only you in the universe.
Let’s sing about love that doesn’t fit our stature, we are still living in love.
<Masao Sasagawa comments
It was fun to be allowed to do whatever I wanted, and I released it so that I could amplify and spread mekakushe’s lyrics and Nagase’s singing voice. I would be happy if this album could be a place where someone can always return to.
