The pop culture festival event TAMATAMAFESTIVAL 2023 will take place on October 21 (Sat) and 22 (Sun) at the former Nishi-Ochiai Junior High School in Tama City, Tokyo, and in front of Tama Center Station.
For the first installment, TAMATAMA FESTIVAL is co-organized by WACK and NiEW. WACK is a music production company with currently seven groups, and NiEW runs eponymous culture media that aims to supports alternative culture. WACK’s founder Junnosuke Watanabe and NiEW’s founder Mansaku Kashiwai were both born and raised in the Tama Center Station area.
At the former Nishi-Ochiai Junior High School, “WACK’s style cultural festival” will be held with the participation of all the WACK’s groups, ExWHYZ, GANG PARADE, ASP, BiS, Mameshiba no Taigun, Tonai Bousho, and BiTE A SHOCK, where members will participate a sports festival and cultural festival programs. Also, at Tama Center Station, the program will include a free live show “exPoP!!!!!” by NiEW.
