The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) will unveil new permanent exhibits on three themes, “Robots,” “Global Environment,” and “Aging,” on November 22. This will be the first time in seven years that the permanent exhibition has been renewed since its major renovation in 2016.
The three new themes are aimed at realizing the Miraikan Vision 2030, “A Platform for Creating the Future with You,” which was announced in April 2021. Each exhibit will include mechanisms for visitors to identify their own issues and explore ideas for solutions, and for visitors to share their opinions and deepen their thinking with each other.
In accordance with the renewal, some of the permanent exhibits will be closed by early November.
