SiM has unleashed new single BLiNDEYES featuring Yukina of Hanabie., alongside the announcement of new album HOOMAN AFTER ALL arriving September 2.
Marking the band’s first full length album in three years since PLAYDEAD, the upcoming release sees SiM stepping outside its longtime self produced approach by collaborating with Jon Lundin of Point North as producer.
Several songs, including FiVE TiMES DEAD (by my wallet) and Sailing On, were written in Los Angeles with MorgothBeatz from Seven Hours After Violet, while additional guests include Masato of coldrain and the horn section from HEY-SMITH.
The album’s title, “HOOMAN,” references internet slang used by pets to describe humans, with the cover artwork featuring MAH’s pet cat.
