HANA’s major debut track, “ROSE,” is set to be released digitally on April 2 (Wednesday). The CD will follow on April 23 (Wednesday).
HANA was born from the “No No Girls” girl group audition, organized by BMSG, the management and label company led by artist and producer SKY-HI. The label, which also represents groups like BE:FIRST and MAZZEL, brought in rapper/singer Chanmina as the producer. The final auditions were held on January 11 (Saturday), where the seven members—CHIKA, NAOKO, JISOO, YURI, MOMOKA, KOHARU, and MAHINA—were selected. HANA’s pre-debut track, “Drop,” was released on January 31 (Friday) as part of the final audition performance.
The upcoming release, “ROSE,” reflects the strong will to live fiercely and authentically, no matter the circumstances or challenges. The song explores the intertwining feelings of pain, beauty, and the complex emotions that come with them, ultimately expressing a strong determination to embrace and live life fully. Producer Chanmina’s heartfelt message for all those who hear this song, particularly HANA’s members, is to continue blooming—strong, right, and beautiful—despite any obstacles or hardships.
The CD, scheduled for release on April 23, will be available in three versions: First Press Limited Editions A and B, both including a Blu-ray, and a standard edition with the CD only. The CD will feature three tracks: the debut single “ROSE,” the pre-debut track “Drop,” and “Tiger,” a song from the “No No Girls” audition. The Blu-ray included in First Press Limited Edition A will feature the music video and performance video of “ROSE,” while Edition B will include the music video and behind-the-scenes footage. Additionally, a set of seven solo trading cards, with different designs, will be included with each edition.
