TuneCore Japan, operated by TuneCore Japan Inc., has introduced a new “Unlimited Plan” alongside its existing “Pay Per Release Plan,” which charges per single or album release.
TuneCore Japan is a music distribution service that enables artists to sell their music on distribution platforms in over 185 countries. The service launched in Japan in October 2012 and has continuously added new music stores and features for both domestic and international artists.
The newly launched “Unlimited Plan” offers four options, each providing unlimited releases for a fixed annual fee. The Starter Plan for individuals costs ¥4,400 per year, the Standard Plan is priced at ¥9,900 annually, the Pro Plan is ¥23,100 per year, and the Enterprise Plan for businesses costs ¥110,000 per year. Current TuneCore Japan users can switch to the “Unlimited Plan,” and once switched, there will be no annual renewal fees for their existing distributed works.
