A live performance titled “Jusangatsu Presents: Sokkyo” featuring all four members of GEZAN performing solo will be held on February 11 (Tuesday, holiday) at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo.
GEZAN is an alternative rock band consisting of Mahito the People (Vocals/Guitar), Eagle Taka (Guitar), Ishihara Rosukaru (Drums), and Yakumoa (Bass). They run their own label, Jusangatsu, and have been involved in several innovative projects, including organizing a donation-based outdoor festival, Zenkankaku Matsuri.
This will be the first time in 2025 that all members of GEZAN will perform together. The concert, themed “Sokkyo” (≒improvisation), will feature experimental and conceptual solo performances, incorporating “Chance Operation” techniques for composing through randomness. The performance will include elements such as solo pieces, ensemble work, singing, and improvisation. The live sound will be managed by engineer Naoyuki Uchida.
