Yuragi has released their third album, In Your Languages, both digitally and on CD.
Formed in Osaka in 2015, Yuragi is a band centered around miraco (Vocals / Guitar / Piano) and Yusei (Drums / Sampler). In 2019, they performed at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’s ROOKIE A GO-GO stage and have also been guest performers for several international artists, including Japanese Breakfast, Turnover, and Nothing.
The new album, In Your Languages, which marks their first release in about a year and a half, differs from its predecessor Here I Stand, which was inspired by the experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic. This album focuses more on songwriting, aiming for a warm sound that gently blends into the listener’s everyday life. The band draws influences from 1960s oldies, 1970s progressive rock, and folk music, all infused with their signature style.
In addition to the previously released lyric video for Our, the band has now shared lyric videos for all tracks from the album on their YouTube channel. The 50-minute video, arranged in the order of the album’s tracklist, includes Japanese subtitles corresponding to the English lyrics. The video was directed by Megumi Muroya.
Furthermore, the band has shared comments about the release and announced additional guests for their upcoming release tour in February and March. Uri Gagarn will perform at the Nagoya show, while Sarasa (Trio Set) will join the Osaka show. THE NOVEMBERS have already been confirmed for the Tokyo performance. Additionally, a one-man live show in Hong Kong is scheduled for February 22.
The 3rd full album In Your Languages, released on January 24, is an album that blends into daily life, offering a human touch and warmth that gently accompanies you. I hope that when you listen to this album, you feel that it is your album.
