Fuki Kitamura released her new single, “Used to Fall,” on January 24 via digital platforms.
This track is the most upbeat and energetic dance song of her career. It accelerates the dance music style that Kitamura first explored with her debut EP, “500mm,” released in June 2024. Additionally, she took on the task of mixing and mastering the song herself, marking her first time handling the entire production, including the artwork.
Kitamura is also scheduled to appear at the “RADIO SAKAMOTO Uday -NEW CONTEXT FES × DIG SHIBUYA-” tribute festival for Ryuichi Sakamoto at Spotify O-EAST in Shibuya on February 10 (Monday), and in March, she will perform at the “INSPIRED BY TOKYO stage” at the 2025 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
On January 15 (Wednesday), she also released the music video for “eclipse,” a track from her EP “500mm.”
