Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. will perform in Japan on February 21, 2025, at GORILLA HALL in Suminoe, Osaka, and on February 23 at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo.
Fontaines D.C. released their fourth album, Romance, in August. This marks their first collaboration with producer James Ford, known for working with Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, and Depeche Mode, resulting in a unique and adventurous sound. The album has received perfect scores from reviews in the UK, including The Guardian and NME, and debuted at number two on charts in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands, earning high praise.
After successfully completing their first tour in Japan in 2023, Fontaines D.C. will also perform at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL in 2024, where they were named a best act by many music fans. In 2024, they continued to sell out shows during tours in the United States, the UK, and Ireland. Their upcoming live performance at London’s Finsbury Park in July 2025, which is expected to attract around 65,000 attendees—one of the largest in Fontaines D.C. history—is already sold out, raising anticipation for their Japan shows.
