#KT-chan is set to make her major debut on January 13, 2025 (Monday, a public holiday).
#KT-chan is a rapper and artist born in Yokohama in 2004. She made her freestyle debut in 2022 at the “High School Rap Championship.” Her unique rap style, known as “KT Theater,” has garnered significant attention, with her YouTube views exceeding one million across the board. She won the rookie award at the 2022 “Sengoku MCBATTLE” and made history by advancing to the top four as the first female contestant in 2024. Additionally, she was selected for the Next Break Award at the 2023 Yahoo! Search Awards and is also a reporter on the NHK show “Numani Hamatte Kiitemita,” showcasing her diverse talents and unique presence.
The announcement of her major debut was made during the final MC of her first solo concert held on October 6 (Sunday) at WWW in Shibuya, Tokyo. The concert coincided with #KT-chan’s 20th birthday, and a cake was presented to her by Rofu Karma, who recognized her talent as a judge at the “High School Rap Championship” and also appeared as a guest at the concert. At the end of the show, she performed her digital single “imagination,” released on the same day as her final indie release. #KT-chan created a happy atmosphere on the dance floor with her hip-hop × EDM style. The music video for “imagination” has also been released.
On December 27 (Friday), the last indie party will be held in Tokyo. Additionally, on January 13, 2025 (Monday, a public holiday), a digital single is scheduled to be released, along with live performances titled “1st Single Release Tour” to coincide with her debut. On the debut day, January 13 (Monday, a public holiday), a concert will be held in Tokyo, followed by another concert in Osaka on January 18 (Saturday).
