tricot has announced their first China tour, titled “tricot CHINA TOUR 2025,” set to take place in January 2025. Additionally, their new song “Otozure” has been selected as the opening theme for the TV anime “You Are Ms. Servant.”
tricot, a rock band formed by Ikkyu Nakajima (Vocals/Guitar), Kida Motifou (Guitar/Backing Vocals), and Hiromi Hirohiro (Bass/Backing Vocals), is currently a four-member group with Yusuke Yoshida (Drums) joining. The band gained international recognition in 2015 with features in NME and Rolling Stone, and they have actively toured Europe and North America.
The newly announced China tour will kick off in Beijing on January 8, 2025, and will include performances in four cities. This will be their first live shows in China since their 2015 Asia tour.
The new song “Otozure” will serve as the opening theme for “You Are Ms. Servant.” A comment from Ikkyu Nakajima has been released in conjunction with this announcement.

We had the pleasure of creating the opening theme “Otozure” for this project. The song reflects the “arrival” of a new life that begins when two people with unconventional lives unexpectedly intersect, as well as the challenges of adapting to a “normal” life amidst the loneliness that snow represents, exploring both strengths and vulnerabilities in a way unique to tricot. We hope you enjoy it alongside the work!
tricot, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2025, has also announced a solo live concert titled “YAKUBARAI” to be held in February in Tokyo and Osaka. Official pre-sale tickets are available through a lottery until September 30th (Monday) at 23:59.
