‘BAYSIDE FESTIVAL 2024’ will take place on Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, at Bayside Place Hakata in Fukuoka.
Now in its third year, the theme of ‘BAYSIDE FESTIVAL 2024’ is ‘CREATE THE BAY CULTURE.’ The event aims to promote a new ‘BAY POP’ culture from Fukuoka’s bayside.
Performing artists include Hidefumi Ino & Hiroshi Fujiwara, Yasuyuki Horigome, Hitomitoi, Junpei Shiina, Summer Eye, and Billyrrom. From Fukuoka, up-and-coming artists YOHLU, SetagayaGenico, aldo van eyck, and Momoko Iwasaki will also take the stage, making waves both in and outside the city. Additionally, Lil Summer, who recently joined the creative collective/label w.a.u, will showcase a special collaboration stage with popular UK producer ROMderful.
On the evening of Friday, September 20, the night before the festival, a pre-party called ‘Hakata Paradise’ will be held at Hakata Port Tower, located next to Bayside Place Hakata. The 70-meter-high observatory will be transformed into a luxurious lounge for this exclusive night. Special guest DJs include Yasuharu Konishi, Hibiki Tokiwa, and Aoki Takeuchi.
Admission to both events is free.
