The daily lineup for ULTRA JAPAN 2024 has been unveiled.
Returning for its 9th year, ULTRA JAPAN will light up Tokyo’s Aomi district over the weekend of September 14-15, 2024, at the TOKYO ODAIBA ULTRA PARK.
On September 14, the spotlight will be on ISOKNOCK, who recently wowed crowds at Coachella, and headliners Armin van Buuren—celebrated five times as the world’s top DJ by DJ Mag—and Afrojack, renowned for his Grammy-winning remix work. Also gracing the main stage will be Minna-no-kimochi, fresh off a successful Asian and European tour and a standout performance at Boiler Room Tokyo.
The RESISTANCE stage, known for its focus on the immersive and ecstatic world of underground techno and tech house, will feature performances by Richie Hawtin and Ken Ishii. The stage will also host Risa Taniguchi, who has been making waves internationally with her appearances at events like the Amsterdam Dance Event and her European tour. Jun Inagawa, an artist and DJ influenced by anime and manga, known for her artwork and energetic presence at clubs like ENTER and Shibuya’s Fumin Yugi Lion, will also be performing.
On September 15th (Sunday), the second day of ULTRA JAPAN 2024, Alesso will make a long-awaited return after seven years, alongside Steve Aoki, a stalwart of the Japanese music scene. The main stage will also showcase nasthug, known for their buzzworthy set at Boiler Room Tokyo: Tohji Presents u-ha, and ecec, a designer and DJ quickly rising to prominence in Tokyo’s club scene.
Additionally, on the second day at the ULTRA PARK stage, DJ N² will organize performances including “Kyun Desu,” an event that bridges the LGBTQ+ community with the dance music scene, and the YAGI EXHIBITION, curated by Okamoto Reiji from OKAMOTO’S.
