ME TOKYO IKEBUKURO, a new entertainment facility in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, opened its doors on August 8 (Thursday).
With the concept of “MOVE EMOTION – Emotional Liberation Zone,” ME TOKYO offers not only a variety of games such as purikura (photo booths) and crane games but also a range of communication and experiential services. This location is the second installment of ME TOKYO, following the first store that opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo, in 2022.
The facility features a total of 221 crane game machines spread across the first to third floors, while the fourth floor houses the EMOTION LOUNGE, tailored for Generation Z. The EMOTION LOUNGE introduces Japan’s first “Immersive 5D Emotion Room,” where an LED-equipped space with screens on the walls, floor, and ceiling allows for immersive experiences and the shooting of three-dimensional, dynamic videos from preset content or photos and videos brought in from smartphones.
Inside the EMOTION LOUNGE, you can find the Beauty LOUNGE, equipped with the latest beauty appliances, as well as an extensive cosplay corner offering a variety of costumes and makeup products. The space also includes a studio with high-speed internet, equipped for streaming and video recording, and a free-use lounge area. These features make ME TOKYO IKEBUKURO a new hub for trendsetting and forming authentic communities.
