Okinawa-based trio HOME released their new track “Tell Me” on August 7 (Wednesday).
Formed in 2020, HOME consists of seigetsu (vocals), o-png (PC), and shun (guitar). They are gaining attention with upcoming appearances at the Mongolia’s Playtime Festival and the ROOKIE A GO-GO stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL in 2024, and they are also set to perform at SUMMER SONIC Osaka on August 17 (Saturday).
“Tell Me” is a popular track previously performed live. It blends hyperpop, indie pop, and shoegaze, with lyrics in Japanese, English, and Korean that intertwine powerfully like a gradient. The artwork continues to be created by member o-png.
Additionally, a studio live video of “Tell Me” was released on YouTube at 8 PM on August 7. Directed by Daichi Sato, known for his work with never young beach and Yogee New Waves, the video captures the live energy with innovative angles and techniques.
The live CD “Bang the drums. ’24,” featuring the live audio of this video and including three unreleased tracks, is now available for purchase on the band’s official EC site and at live venues.
HOME will hold their one-man live shows “HOME PARTY ’24 FALL” at CONPASS in Shinsaibashi, Osaka on November 6 (Wednesday) and at WWW in Shibuya, Tokyo on November 8 (Friday). Tickets are available for official pre-sale through Pia until August 12 (Monday, national holiday).
