Dyson has unveiled its high-quality wireless headphones, the Dyson OnTrac.
While Dyson launched its air-purifying headphones, the Dyson Zone, in 2023, the Dyson OnTrac marks the company’s first foray into dedicated audio products. Leveraging over 30 years of research and acoustic design expertise, the OnTrac features advanced noise-canceling technology that monitors ambient sound 384,000 times per second, reducing noise by up to 40dB, similar to the Dyson Zone. The headphones also offer up to 55 hours of music playback and a wide sound range from 6Hz to 21kHz. Available in four body colors—CNC Aluminum, CNC Copper, Ceramic Sinabar, and CNC Black Nickel—the OnTrac also comes with customizable ear caps and cushions in seven colors each.
Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer, described the product, saying, “Dyson’s mission in audio engineering is to faithfully reproduce the waveform of the sound created by artists. We wanted to create headphones that excite people just by wearing them.” The headphones are designed with a focus on comfort and noise isolation, using carefully selected materials and ergonomic design.
The release date for Japan has yet to be announced.
