Answer to Remember’s album “Answer to Remember II” will be released on Wednesday, August 7, and “NEW POWER” from the album was pre-released on Wednesday, July 10.
Drummer Shun Ishiwaka’s “leader project,” Answer to Remember is his first album release in four and a half years. The album contains 14 songs including “ATR Theme” and “Christmas Song ll” released in December 2023, and “NEW POWER” featuring ermhoi and Mei Inoue. The members are Yusuke Sase (tp), MELRAW (as/gt), Shuha Nakajima (as), Tomoaki Baba (ts), Yuya Wakai (pf/key), Kota Kaihori (pf/key), Marty Holoubek (ba), Taikimen (per), and in addition to ermhoi and Mei Inoue as mentioned above, the band also includes Kid Freesino In addition to the aforementioned ermhoi and Mei Inoue, Kid Fresino, Jua, HIMI, Mahiru Koda, Tomoki Sanders, KARAI, Gensuke Kanki, and Takafumi Nikaido are featured artists. The jacket design is by Ishiwaka’s younger brother, illustrator Yoh Ishiwaka.
In addition, “Answer to Remember ll Release Commemoration Tour – Watts Up to Your Town 2024” will be held in three cities: ermhoi, Jua, and HIMI at the Sapporo Penny Lane 24 concert in Hokkaido on September 18 (Wed), and at the Shinsaibashi BIGCAT in Osaka on October 31 (Thu). More guests are scheduled to appear at the Shibuya WWW X show in Tokyo on Thursday, December 26, including Jua, HIMI, and Mahiru Koda. Kazuki Arai of King Gnu will play bass for the Osaka and Tokyo shows.
Tickets for the “Answer to Remember ll Release Commemorative Tour – Watts Up to Your Town 2024” will be available at playguides from July 10 (Wed.) at 9:00 p.m. until July 31 (Wed.) for the first advance order by lottery.
