The artists participating in CreepHyp’s first tribute album “If I Were Reborn, I Would Quietly Have Such a Voice,” set to be released on August 28th (Wednesday), have been announced.
This album is released in celebration of CreepHyp’s current members’ 15th anniversary. Starting from June 28th (Friday), one artist per day has been announced. So far, participation from back number, indigo la End, 10-FEET, Yorushika, ano, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, My Hair is Bad, Ulfuls, UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, and WurtS has been announced.
On July 8th (Monday), SEKAI NO OWARI was announced as the final artist. They have previously invited CreepHyp as performing artists at their live event “club EARTH 12th Anniversary” in 2018. Additionally, there is a shared connection between Saori (Fujisaki Saori) on piano and CreepHyp’s Ozaki Sekai, who is also active as a novelist, indicating both personal and professional exchanges.
The jacket, featuring artwork by art director Fumihira Yorifuji, which is inspired by the 11 participating artists, has also been unveiled.
Furthermore, a listening party titled “If You Reserved, Listen to Such a Voice Gently” where attendees can listen to the album’s tracks ahead of its release has been confirmed to take place on August 5th (Monday). 98 winners will be invited through a lottery from those who have pre-ordered the album. Additionally, all pre-order participants will receive a live streaming URL to enjoy the listening party remotely.
