Aimyon will release her fifth album “Jealous of Cats” on September 11 (Wed.).
“Jealous of Cats” is Aimyon’s first full album in two years since her previous work ‘Hitomi e Ochiru yo Record.’ It includes five single tracks such as ‘Ai no Hana,’ the theme song for NHK’s 2023 morning drama series ‘Ranman,’ and ‘Ai ni Iku noni,’ the theme song for the currently airing drama series ‘Anmet: Diary of a Neurosurgeon’ on Kansai TV and Fuji TV’s 10 PM slot. Additionally, the album features eight new songs, including ‘Lucky Color,’ which started airing in commercials for Calpis from April.
The first limited edition includes a DVD/Blu-ray featuring live footage from “AIMYON TOUR 2023 -Magical Bathroom-” held at Tokyo Garden Theater in 2023, along with behind-the-scenes footage “Bantai-san no Uragawa,” and a 40-page tour photo booklet. Additionally, the initial press of the album will include a serial-numbered ticket lottery application for “AIMYON TOUR 2024-25 ‘Dolphin Apartment’,” a nationwide tour starting in September.
In conjunction with this announcement, a new jacket photo, art-directed by Ran Tonda Rin, has also been released. It is a mosaic artwork with “Aimyon’s face” as the motif.
In addition, a live broadcast to celebrate the album release will be held on June 19 (Wed.) from 8 p.m. on Aimyon’s official YouTube channel. Some of the songs from the album, including a new song, will be shown, and Aimyon herself will join the chat.
