“Wild Hotaru wo Tsukamaero” a one-woman show written and directed by actor and poet Sekiyu Okamoto.

Sekiyu Okamoto ★Single Play “Wild Hotaru wo Tsukamaero” will be performed at Waseda Little Theater Doramakan, Tokyo, from July 13 (Sat) to 15 (Mon).

The “Sekiyu Okamoto★Single Play” is a one-man show project by stage actor and poet Sekiyu Okamoto. Okamoto also writes and directs this double bill, with “Wild Hotaru wo Tsukamaero” as the first act and “Sushi no Onna” as the second act, which was also performed in “APOFES2024” in February.

“Wild Hotaru wo Tsukamaero” is about a man who gets lost on his way home from his usual route and looks back on his life. In “Sushi no Onna,” a man and a woman are about to break up in their apartment when a piece of sushi arrives, which they have no idea what it is.
