Five out of seven shows of Eve’s tour, “Eve Asia Tour 2024 ‘Culture,'” have been completed. Live photos and a documentary movie from each show have been released.
So far, Eve has performed on May 8th (Wednesday) at MacPherson Stadium in Hong Kong, May 12th (Sunday) at YES24 LIVE HALL in Seoul, South Korea, May 22nd (Wednesday) at The Theatre at MediaCorp in Singapore, May 24th (Friday) at Zepp Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and May 26th (Sunday) at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia. Eve’s first Asia tour saw sold-out tickets and enthusiastic crowds at each venue.
Additional shows were announced in March, and the Hong Kong show on Wednesday, March 8, was the first day of the tour. In the documentary movie, you can see the cityscape of Hong Kong, fans wearing the performance goods, and Eve singing while pointing to the audience, symbolizing the opening of the Asian tour.
At the Seoul, Korea performance held on Sunday, May 12, fans sang along to almost all the songs. And even Eve was surprised by their enthusiasm for the encore, when they sang the popular song “Kiminisekai” in Japanese as a surprise. The documentary movie includes a scene in which fans volunteer to raise a slogan based on a part of the lyrics of “Kiminisekai”.
At the Singapore concert on Wednesday the 22nd, fans celebrated Eve’s birthday on Thursday the 23rd at various places. Fans sang a birthday song during the encore, and in the documentary movie, many people gathered to congratulate Eve by saying “Happy Birthday Eve” in unison. The movie also shows a scene where a birthday cake is brought to Eve backstage, giving a clear picture of the memorable performance.
The fourth performance was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday the 24th. The fans who had been waiting for the performance were whipped into a frenzy, and the stage was filled with excitement for the first time since Eve’s birthday. In the documentary movie, you can see fans enjoying the live performance with their whole body, clapping their hands, and holding up goods made by volunteers in response to Eve on stage.
At the Jakarta, Indonesia concert held on Sunday, May 26, the audience was so excited that they were singing along with Eve’s singing. In the documentary movie, you can see the audience headbanging to Eve’s music, shoulder to shoulder to the rhythm, and enjoying the performance while moving their bodies.
The remaining two shows of “Eve Asia Tour 2024 ‘Culture'” will be held at Zepp New Taipei in Taipei, Taiwan on June 5 (Wed) and Yokohama BUNTAI in Kanagawa on June 9 (Sun), with an additional show “Bunka(Culture)” to be held at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on August 20 (Tue) and 21 (Wed). All tickets are sold out.
