HOME, a trio of Okinawa-based artists, released a new song “Plastic Romance” on May 15 (Wed.). A music video for the song has also been released.
HOME was formed in 2020 by Okinawa-based seigetsu (Vo), o-png (PC), and shun (Gt), and released their first single “Lucy” in August 2023. The band performed at live shows and festivals in Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan from October to November of the same year, and released their first EP “HOME EP” in December. The band will also perform at the “Playtime Festival” scheduled to be held in Mongolia in July.
“Plastic Romance” is a dance tune with a striking synth melody, reminiscent of city pop, 1980s pop, and R&B. The artwork was created by member o-png, as in the past. The music video was directed by Ryo Suda, who has worked with JUMADIBA, kZm, and lil soft tennis.
