“TOKYO INV.” will be held by ODD Foot Works at Spotify O-nest in Shibuya, Tokyo, on Friday, June 21.
“TOKYO INV.” is a series of events organized by ODD Foot Works. It is the same title as the independent event held at the now defunct Shimokitazawa Garage when the group was first formed, and is a keyword that the members have a strong emotional attachment to. The event was planned to be an exciting mix of “origin,” “experimentation,” and “evolution” using Spotify O-nest, where artists and audiences are close, as its starting point.
The previous event, held in March, opened with “Terminal Station,” the first song from the first mini-album “ODD FOOT WORKS” released in March 2017 and produced by Pecori, a rap artist, and closed with the latest single “Dialogue,” released in February 2024, tracing the past to the present. The setlist traces the past to the present. S.A.R. was the guest act, which had been a secret until the day of the event.
Bassist Shun Enomoto was in charge of stage production, including the setlist, for this, the second event in 2024. Unreleased new songs will also be unveiled for the first time. Also scheduled are guests who will be kept secret until the day of the event, including “performers who have interacted with Enomoto.
ODD Foot Works is a music group consisting of Pecori (rap), Kiichi Arimoto (guitar), and Shun Enomoto (bass) that began performing around 2016 and performed on the “ROOKIE A GO-GO” stage at “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL” in 2017. They have released three full-length albums so far, and their collaborative songs “GOTOH” featuring Okamoto Reiji (OKAMOTO’S) as a guest vocalist and “Night School” featuring Mono no Aware have also been talked about. Pecori has guest-starred on many artists’ albums, and each member is active outside of their own band, including lyricist on Number_i’s debut song “GOAT”.
