The club event “WOMB presents RICHIE HAWTIN at WOMB” will be held on Saturday, April 20 at WOMB in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Richie Hawtin, who just performed as the last performer at the world’s largest techno festival “TIME WARP” held in Mainheim, Germany on April 5 (Fri.) and 6 (Sat.) and celebrating its 30th anniversary, will come to Japan for this event. This will be his first appearance at WOMB in about a year since his appearance at the WOMB 23rd anniversary event held in April 2023.
The lineup on the main floor includes Richie Hawtin as well as DJ SODEYAMA, resident of WOMB’s party “ethos”. Also, TORU IKEMOTO from Osaka will perform a live set from the opening. Meanwhile, WOMB LOUNGE on the 1st floor will host the 2nd anniversary party of “H5R2,” an event by Hype Sync Records, which consists of only artists born in the 1990s, guitarists from rock bands, popping dancers, and genre-less track makers.
