Compsons Omiya Kikaku #2 “Eiga no parody ” will be performed at Stardust in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, from April 18 (Thu) to 21 (Sun).
Compsons Omiya Kikaku is a personal project by Jiro Omiya, a member of the Compsons theater company. Omiya has appeared in plays, dramas, and movies, and is also active as a writer, example a writer of the comedy duo”Manju Daiteikoku”.
The performance, his second in about three years, will be packed with his experience from his first performance “Tanpenshu,Sekkan” and the comedy events he has participated in during the past period. It will be written and directed by Jiro Omiya. In addition to Omiya, the cast includes Pajama Ehara (Pa-Man), Yoshitaka Sakakibara, Toko Tsuchimoto, Ryohei Higashino (Gekidan JizoChudoku), and Molly (NATURE DANGER GANG).

My name is Jiro Omiya. My real name is Taro Kawagoe.
I’m going to do a couple of comedy acts in the beautiful spring season.
I like to watch so-called “cool comedies,” but I can’t write them, so I’m going to do “not-so-cool comedies” that are just a bunch of things I think are funny.
I will do my best to make you laugh a lot.
I hope you will think of it as something like “Knight Commander Kosaku” if the usual Compsons is “Kosaku Shima”, or like “Ishishi to Noshishi no Suppoko-Peppoko henteko banashi” if it is “Kaiketsu Zorori”.
