valknee’s first full-length album “Ordinary” will be released on Wednesday, April 10.
valknee is a Tokyo-based rapper whose single “Zoom,” released in May 2020, attracted attention from a wide range of people, not only hip-hop fans. Pitchfork, and in the same year, he participated in “The Birth of Rapstar 2023,” steadily increasing his presence in the music industry. In addition to his own music production, he has been expanding his activities by providing songs for Ayaka Wada, REIRIE, lyrical school, and others, as well as being in charge of the theme song and music direction for the movie “#Mitoyamane” starring Tina Tamaki.
Their first career album “Ordinary” includes previously released songs such as “WHITE DOWN JKT” and “BREEEEZE” as well as the theme song for the movie “#Mitoyamane”.
To celebrate the release of the album, the band will hold its first solo live concert at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo on May 2 (Thu). Tickets will go on sale to the general public on March 6 (Wed.) at 20:00.
