group_inou and Tokumaru Shugo’s two-man live “TANAKA SOUND” will be held on Thursday, March 28 at Spotify O-nest in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Although group_inou has only been sporadically active as a group since going on hiatus in 2016, they have been attracting attention with the unannounced release of their EP “HAPPY” on New Year’s Day 2024, making this an important live performance for the group to learn about future developments. Tokumaru Shugo, on the other hand, has been active in recent years as the music director for the anime “Chiika,” and in 2023 will hold his first organized festival “TONOFON FESTIVAL” in six years. He is currently working on his seventh album, the first since “TOSS” released in 2016, and is scheduled to perform at “TANAKA SOUND” with a five-piece band.
In addition, food by Coburn (Kobayashi) will be sold at the venue on the day of the event. The flyer for the live concert was designed by illustrator Ocataoka.
Tickets for the show are available through March 3 (Sun.) by lottery on e-plus. General tickets will go on sale on March 13 (Wed.) at 10:00.
