Theater Company Ningen Girai’s stage play “Ii Tabi, Jissai (Real) Mood”. will be performed from March 13 (Wed) to 17 (Sun) at the Little Theater Rakuen in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.
The theater company Ningen Girai was launched in 2014 by its leader, Minako Iwai. The company has been portraying the earnest lives of women who cannot escape or ignore the curse of being “girls”.
In 2024, the 10th anniversary of the company’s founding, three productions are scheduled to be staged in Shimokitazawa. The themes of the first production are “travel” and “remote islands. It will be written and directed by Minako Iwai. The cast includes Natsuki Inaba, Sameko Kishi, Kazuko Suzutani, Rana Fujita, Saho Takeda, Natsumi Maeda, Arisa Izumi, and Michi Kawawa (Gasorina / Michitosase). Also appearing as daily cast members are Naoki Asami (Yarinage), Kodai Iijima, Kenshin Kawakami (Gekidan Fujo), Chiaki Sakamoto (Mathilde Apartman), and Kohei Fujimoto.
