Ako Unveils Major Debut and First Full Album Release

Singer-songwriter Ako has announced plans to make her major label debut with IRORI Records and release her first full-length album.

The information was revealed at the Shibuya Club Quattro show of her first one-man tour “l’m crazy now, over you” on Tuesday, December 26. In addition, “ako Live Tour 2024 “Umbilical Cord”” will be held in August. The tour will be held at Umeda Club Quattro in Osaka on August 3 (Sat) and at LIQUIDROOM in Ebisu, Tokyo on August 9 (Fri). Tickets for the performances are available on e-plus through January 31 (Wed.).

On Wednesday, December 6, ako will release her third EP “Steal your heart” containing five songs, including “Atashi no zenzai wo airenai” (I can’t love all of you), which is a tie-up song with the drama “Hatsukoi, zarari”. The band will perform at the “2024 SXSW Music Festival” in Austin, Texas, in March 2024.
