A new international festival exploring the intersection of art, music, and technology, Future Frequencies Festival 2026, is set to debut at MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives. Curated by Daito Manabe in collaboration with BEATINK, the event expands upon Manabe’s long-running Flying Tokyo series with a multidisciplinary program spanning live music, conferences, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions.
The festival’s main stage, Box1000, is an immersive LED-equipped venue inside the newly opened MoN Takanawa at Takanawa Gateway City, purpose-built for large-scale audiovisual performances.
DAY 1 will feature UK electronic heavyweight Joy Orbison as headliner, alongside the Japanese debut of legendary electronic group The Sabres of Paradise, plus performances from Marihiko Hara and others. The festival opens with a brand-new audiovisual collaboration between Nosaj Thing and Daito Manabe.
On DAY 2, KNOWER—the duo of Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi—takes the headline slot. Also confirmed are Kassa Overall, Hakushi Hasegawa, Kei Matsumaru, and Mount XLR.
Tickets are on sale now, with several ticket categories already sold out or running low.
