Red Bull’s freestyle rap battle “Red Bull rhyme DA HOUSE” will be renewed as “Red Bull Roku Maru” and held at WOMB in Shibuya, Tokyo on Saturday, January 6.
Red Bull Roku Maru” is a freestyle rap battle where the MC has 60 seconds x 2 rounds. The inaugural event will feature a record number of veterans such as Karma Rofu and DOTAMA, as well as young MCs such as L.B.R.L, NARIMIMI, RunLine, and Ryuki. In addition, members who have been active in past competitions such as Fuma no KTR and MAKA, as well as unexpected MCs such as 018, who appeared in Red Bull’s popular cypher project “Red Bull RASEN,” and Ayaka Takizawa, who is also active as an idol, will also participate. In addition, 16 contestants will participate in total, including those who passed the qualifying round on the day of the competition.
The judges will be Kan a.k.a GAMI, ERONE, and KEN THE 390, the host MCs will be JAP and ACE, and the battle DJs will be DJ YANATAKE and DJ TIGU. The guest performer will be SKRYU, a bank employee-turned-rapper whose addictive and danceable song “How Many Boogie” has become a hot topic.
Tickets are available on e-plus for 5,000 yen, with a discount of 3,500 yen for those under 22 years old. No one under 16 years old will be allowed to enter.
