The music festival “Onsen Onraku 2023 Winter: Shibu Onsen “Kanaguya” in Shinshu Nagano will be held at Kanaguya, a ryokan in Shibu Onsen, Nagano Prefecture, from December 9 (Sat.) to 10 (Sun.).
Since 2009, “Onsen Ongaku” has been held at Shibu Onsen, featuring live artists and a trip to a hot spring at the same time. The venue, Kanaguya, is a wooden structure over 80 years old and is registered as a tangible cultural property. The live performance will be held in “Hiten-no-Ma,” a large tatami room boasting 167 tatami mats, and no standing is the rule for spectators.
Nine groups will perform: DÉ DÉ MOUSE, Kenta Maeno, Skirt, Summer Eye, Kawabe Motoi (Mitsume), Roman Revolution, Nagakumo, Yutai Communications, and Naturally Dub Gushing (Yoshihiro Sawasaki feat. Teddy Kumagaya). The Yukemuri DJs will be DJing in the “Keiun no Ma” area.
Tickets are limited to 200. There are two plans available: the “Kanaguya Accommodation Plan,” which allows guests to stay at the Kanaguya and bathe in the hot springs, and the “Ticket Only Plan,” which requires a separate accommodation reservation.
