YOASOBI will release “The Brave,” an English version of “The Brave,” on Friday, November 24.
The Japanese version of “The Brave” is the opening theme song for the TV anime “Soso no Freelen” currently being broadcast. The song is based on the original novel “Kanaso,” written under the supervision of Yamada Kaneto, the original work’s author. The lyrics were translated by Konnie Aoki, who has translated many of YOASOBI’s English songs.
The CD will be released on December 13 (Wed.) in a limited edition CD “Yusha”, which comes in a gorgeous antique treasure box. Inside the CD is a booklet with lyrics and a cover illustration of Freelen and Himmel, two characters from the original “Sourei no Freelen,” drawn by Abetsukasa, the artist in charge of the original “Sourei no Freelen,” a magic book-style digipak, and the novel “Kanasen” as a scroll.
