Sweet William’s album “SONORAS” will be released on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, and a new song “ME TIME” from the album was made available for download on Wednesday, November 15.
Sweet William is a Tokyo-based beatmaker born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, who released his first album “Arte Frasco” in 2016 and has since collaborated with rappers Spit Qi and Jinmenusagi, as well as singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba. In 2021, he released “Beat Theme,” an album composed entirely of instrumental beats.
“SONORAS”, his first album in two and a half years, contains a total of 13 tracks, consisting of collaborations with various artists, including some collaborations for the first time, as well as newly recorded instrumental tracks. Participating artists and song titles will be announced soon.
The track “ME TIME” is a collaboration with Kota the Friend, a rapper living in Brooklyn, NY. The track was created and produced by Sweet William, with lyrics written by Kota the Friend and music composed by both artists.
