Shiroyagi no Kai’s stage play “Shioreta Hana no Benmei” will be performed at Mitaka City Arts Center Hoshi no Hall in Tokyo from December 8 (Fri.) to 17 (Sun.), 2012.
Kenji Yamauchi, playwright, film director, and commercial director, writes and directs for Shiroyagi no Kai, a theater production unit that won the 59th Kishida Kunio Drama Award for its 2014 production of “Torowagulo”.
Yamauchi said of the performance, “Now that the Corona disaster seems to have finally passed, this is a great work of entertainment unique to Shiroyagi no Kai that depicts the liberation from the Corona and sexual liberation of a certain middle-aged man who can no longer be said to be young, and who is in a state of exhaustion. Please look forward to it.”
The cast includes Kenji Iwatani, Honoka Murakami, Ryusei Asahina, Hiroki Okabe, Mai Ishiguro, J.K. Goodman, Mayu Harada, and Takashi Okabe.
