Toshio Suzuki and Mamoru Oshii’s debut book of dialogues arrives on December 15th

The first collection of dialogues between Toshio Suzuki, producer of Studio Ghibli, and Mamoru Oshii, film director, will be published on December 15 (Friday).

The book is a compilation of conversations that the two friends have held over the past 40 years. In addition to past conversations held in magazines, newspapers, radio, and events, the book also includes a roundtable discussion and comments from “Animage” magazine (Tokuma Shoten) in the 1980s about past Ghibli anime, Oshii’s works, “Tenshi no Tamago” and “Innocence,” which they collaborated on, and more. In addition, the latest dialogue will be recorded for the book, which is expected to provide a glimpse into the history of Japanese animation and film images.
