Gekidan5454‘s fall 2023 performance “Kessho” will be held at Akasaka Red/Theater in Tokyo from November 10 (Fri.) to 19 (Sun.), 2012.
Gekidan5454 was launched in April 2012 by its leader,Ryosuke Shunyo, who is also a playwright and director. The company specializes in human comedies created from the psychological aspects of human beings, and all of its productions feature original music and poetry readings that fuse dialogue and melody.
This new production is based on the theme of “childbirth” and depicts a world in which it has become commonplace for children to be born from transparent eggs in an artificial womb facility. It is written and directed by Ryosuke Shunyo. The cast includes Yukari Morishima, Konami Sakaki, Michiaki Kubota, Shino Oikawa, Mark Asakawa, Kana Asumi, Rioka Kanda, Monami Kishida, Yuki Takashina, Tsuyoshi Sano, and Kosei Manabe.
There will be several after-talks with Haruyo and the cast on stage during the performance, and a live-streaming will be held on November 17 (Fri.) at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale on September 22 (Fri.) at 10:00 a.m. for the Lochike Pre-Request and Confetti pre-sale, and will go on sale to the general public on October 1 (Sun.) at 10:00 a.m.
