Busstrio’s performance “One. Montage” Recreation will be performed at Komaba Agora Theater in Tokyo from Friday, October 13 to Monday, October 23.
Busstrio is a performance production collective launched in 2010 by its leader Yuichiro Konno. This live performance work is an updated version of the work performed at SCOOL in Mitaka, Tokyo, in May 2022.
In this performance, “one of them living in one region called Tokyo” presents what they have missed and what they remember in their many hours of time through their own expressions, and by making them exist flatly on the stage where documentary and fiction cross over, the current sense of stagnation and tension, life, and what is important for someone The play depicts the current sense of stagnation and tension, life, and what is important to someone, and what is nothing to someone else, with a little hope.
Yuichiro Konno will write and direct. The cast includes Mai Kuroki, Kana Sakato, Momoko Sato, SKANK, Kenta Suzuki, Yuka Takahashi, Rei Chujo, Yo Nakazawa, Wakako Hashimoto, and Misaki Hondo.
Also, Atsushi Sasaki, a thinker, will be the guest speaker for the after-talk on Saturday, October 14 at 7:30 p.m., and Natsumi Aoyagi, an artist, will be the guest speaker on Monday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m.
