Luby Sparks announced their CHINA TOUR 2023 to perform in seven cities in China.
Luby Sparks is a Tokyo-based alternative rock band that has been active both in Japan and abroad since its formation in 2016, including festival appearances in the UK and tours in the US. Their second album “Search + Destroy” was released last year with Andy Savour, who has produced and engineered for My Bloody Valentine, Sigur Ros, Black Country, New Road, and Rina Sawayama, as co-producer. CHINA TOUR 2023 will tour the Chinese cities of Hangzhou, Shanghai, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen beginning Saturday, September 9, with local bands including Run! Novel, Shakugou, and Kirin Trio. On Sunday, September 17, the final day of the tour, the band will perform at “Strawberry Music Festival 2023,” one of China’s largest outdoor music festivals, to be held in Zhuhai. A trailer for the tour has been released in conjunction with the announcement of the event.
